I’m so glad you are here!

You don’t have to walk this road alone.
I desire to see each woman who crosses my doorstep feel empowered. My hope is to help you pursue a deeper understanding of who you are and the desires of your heart, so that you might live life abundantly. I imagine you might find yourself reaching out because you are hurting and I am here to tell you that you do not have to walk this road alone. I consider it a privilege to hold space for your story and your pain. I honor the bravery it takes to reach out for help, and start a journey towards making meaningful change in your life. I would love to support you in your process.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker I offer individual, couples and emerging adult counseling to support the treatment of relational issues, anxiety, trauma and overall health and wellness. To accomplish change that has staying power, I use a collaborative approach so that you can discover the deeper parts of who you are and I will teach you to integrate what you find. I do this with the intention of you finding a profound, compassionate and purposeful connection with all that you are and can be.
What I value. Exploration and connection, open-mindedness and compassion, vulnerability and self awareness, accountability and empowerment, intentionality and honesty.
What This Looks Like In My Approach
I believe that the only way to find meaningful change is through self exploration and support, that can only be found through a safe connection with another human being. I believe we were created to know one another and to be known. I have been where you are personally and have held space for where you are, professionally. My own personal journey to healing allows me to hold space for YOU in a open-minded and compassion filled way. I want you to seek a greater understanding of who you are so that you can feel free to share yourself with others. The opportunity to know who you are, share who you are and ultimately affect meaningful change in your own life rests with vulnerability and self awareness. I believe in holding myself accountable to empower you and motivate you towards reclaiming your agency, so that you can thrive in your life. I am here to provide intentional and honest therapeutic support, so that you can explore every aspect of your human condition, both beautiful and difficult. The heart of my work is in the thoughtful integration of myself, the unique needs of my client, and identifying the most credible intervention to support the change you wish to see. I have training in evidence-based approaches that have been proven to be effective, as well as, postmodern approaches to therapy that prioritize a client’s individual experience and the client/therapist relationship.

My Focus
I am deeply passionate about women who want to live their life to the full, unashamed and connected to who they are! I have had the unique opportunity to work with women of all ages at varying stages in their life, and it has fostered my passion for their hearts and minds. I strive to refocus the therapeutic process back to the issues women struggle with on a daily basis; issues such as comparison, perfectionism, vulnerability and shame.
I received a bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Arkansas. After receiving a Masters degree in social work from the University of Texas at Arlington, I went on to pursue my certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. This level of certification was obtained through high risk, direct therapeutic care, over a two year period of time. In addition, I am a Certified Faith Based Therapist, which allows me to support those who value their faith as a part of their healing process. As a LCSW approved supervisor I provide part-time supervision and consultation to Masters level social workers looking to pursue their LCSW certification. I am also y12sr Yoga trained, which assists me in body work for clients with trauma backgrounds. I consistently make an effort to obtain as much education as possible, as I have a deep love of learning and desire to have as many tools as possible for my clients to benefit from.
I am also the author of Boundaries Are A Woman’s Best Friend: The Female Guide to Self Awareness and Healthy Relationships.
I believe the most important component of therapy is the relationship that exists between you and me. Therefore, I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to help you see if I am the right fit. Besides being a therapist and an educator, I am also a wife to Ben and Mama to Ellen. I find great joy in my family, friends, cooking (eating), yoga, running, travel, self exploration, writing and learning.
